Our Mission
Why Me is a grassroots non-profit organization dedicated to providing love and support services to families with childhood cancer.
Created and guided in part by parents who have lived this experience firsthand, our dedicated staff understand what families facing pediatric cancer truly need and are deeply committed to providing meaningful support.
Based in Worcester, Massachusetts, Why Me was inspired by the vision of thirteen-year-old Sherry Shepherd and the promise made by those who loved her to carry her dream forward.
Our support begins at the moment of diagnosis and continues through every stage of treatment and beyond.
