At Why Me, we provide compassionate, no-cost support services to families navigating a childhood cancer diagnosis in New England. From emotional peer support and personalized assistance to fun programs and family events, we help families stay connected, find comfort, and build strength during treatment and beyond. Our goal is to be a reliable support system for every family, every step of the way.

You are not alone. Our peer support connects families who understand the challenges of childhood cancer. Parents, siblings, and children find comfort, friendship, and strength by sharing experiences and walking this journey together.

When a family experiences loss, our support continues. We offer compassion, connection, and understanding through one-on-one support and group gatherings, helping families navigate grief while keeping their child’s memory alive.

We know it is important to still be kids. Our programs include creative activities, social visits, and family gathering that offer moments of laughter, joy, and normalcy during difficult times. Our Family Fun Events give families a chance to relax, connect and make lasting memories with others who truly get it.
